CHANGING TO METRIC

During the next few months Bettagrub will start to convert all loose products that are now sold by imperial weight (pounds, ounces) into metric quantities (grams, kilograms etc.) This is in response to new Government laws that say that all retailers must trade in metric units by the year 2000.

Bettagrub have included some Questions & Answers to help all our valued customers understand the changes to metric quantities.

Q: When will this happen?
A: Stores will gradually be converted from July and until the end of September

Q: Which products will change?
A: All loose products including fruit & vegetables that you select and pack yourself and loose products sold from our service counters, e.g. meat counters, fish counters, and Pic N Mix sweets

Q: What changes will I notice?
A: The shelf edge label will show a price in kilograms, followed by a price per lb. Your till receipt will show the weight and price in kilograms.
