Basic Skills Online - Level 1 - Improving your own learning Requirements

At this level, you'll have to show that you can:

• Confirm understanding of your short-term targets.
• Follow your plan.
• Improve your performance by studying a subject and learning an activity.
• Review your progress and achievements.

Confirm targets - At this level, you'll need to:

• provide at least two examples of:
  - records that show you checked your understanding of targets.
  - records that show you knew how to get support.
  
• at least two action plans with:
  - action points.
  - deadlines.
  - review dates.
  

Follow plan - At this level, you'll need to:

• provide at least two examples of:
  - a learning log.
  - notes of the support you were given.
  
• records from people who have seen your work, which show you completed your tasks on time.
  
• records from people who have seen your work, which show you made the changes suggested.
  

Review progress and achievements - At this level, you'll need to:

• provide at least two examples of:
  - records of what you said about your progress.
  - records of what you said about your achievements.
  - records of what to do to improve your performance.
  
• examples of work which show what you learned from studying:
  - two subjects.
  - two practical learning activities.
  
• notes on your action plans to show the targets you have met.
