Basic Skills Online - Level 1 - Information Technology Requirements

At this level, you'll have to show that you can:

• Find, enter, explore and develop relevant information.

• Present information, including text, images and numbers, using appropriate layouts.
  • Your work must include at least one example of text, one example of images and one example of numbers.

  • Save information so it can be found easily.
• Save information so you don't lose it and it can be used again.

Evidence required

Find and develop information

• Printouts and copies of the information you selected.
• Assessor record: an observation of you using IT in exploring and developing information.
• Working drafts, with your notes explaining how you did things.
• You must have these for two different purposes.

Present information

• Working drafts.
• Assessor records.
• Printouts containing examples of at least: one text, one image and one example of numbers.
• Screen shots of your file and folder, showing how you saved the files.
• You must have these for two different purposes.
