This section is about using your computer to word process a document.
You must know how to switch on your computer and log on. If you have to type in a password your tutor or supervisor will help you.
You will have to open the word processing package and type in your text, by copying from handwritten notes. You must spell check your document and correct any mistakes you find.
You must save your text onto a disk or the hard drive.
You will need to think of a file name to save your document into.
You must close down your computer safely without damaging the computer or losing your work.

You must look for the saved piece of work with your file name. When you have found your file you must open your document. Using the Format menu you must change the font style and size to suit your piece of writing.
You will have to choose more than one style and size. Whatever you choose must be appropriate to the document you are producing; the font style must be clear and legible.
You will have use the Insert menu and Picture to choose suitable pictures to put into your document.
You should check your document and make changes to it until you are happy with the way it looks.
You must save your work before you print a copy.
